Footprint Merlot is a dry red wine from South Africa, produced by African Pride Wines. It’s made entirely from Merlot grapes, primarily grown in the Western Cape region (notably Breedekloof and Paarl). The wine is fermented in stainless steel with a small portion receiving maturation with French oak staves to enhance structure and depth. It offers good value and is known locally for its balance between fruit, acidity, and tannin.
