Hennessy VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) is one of the most iconic cognacs in the world, striking the perfect balance between vibrancy and maturity.
It was originally created in 1817 at the request of the future King George IV of England — who specifically asked Hennessy for a "very superior old pale" cognac, giving VSOP its name.
Hennessy VSOP is blended from over 60 eaux-de-vie, carefully selected and aged up to 15 years (most are around 4–10 years), then matured in lightly toasted French oak barrels.
This aging process brings elegant flavors of dried fruits, soft spices, vanilla, and wood, without overpowering the natural smoothness and freshness.
