Jameson Black Barrel takes the signature smoothness of Jameson and amps it up with more depth, richness, and complexity.
It’s aged in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, but with a special twist:
some of the bourbon barrels are double-charred — meaning they’re deeply re-burned to bring out even more toasty, smoky, caramelized flavors from the wood.
This double charring unlocks layers of sweet fruits, creamy butterscotch, rich vanilla, and spicy oak, making Black Barrel heavier and more flavorful than the classic Jameson Original.
