Gold Label Reserve was originally introduced to celebrate the brand’s 190th anniversary and has since become a go-to premium blend for those who want a step up in richness without breaking into Blue Label territory.
Unlike the older Gold Label 18 Year Old, the modern Gold Label Reserve is a no-age-statement (NAS) whisky, blended with a focus on flavor rather than age. One of the stars of the blend is Clynelish, a Highland single malt that brings creamy texture and a subtle waxy sweetness.
