Rémy Martin VSOP is a Fine Champagne cognac, meaning it is made exclusively from eaux-de-vie sourced from the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus (at least 50% Grande Champagne). The cognac is aged in Limousin oak barrels, which impart depth, wood spice and vanilla, while allowing the fruit and floral elements to develop fully. Its creator, André Renaud, first introduced this VSOP in 1927 as a more mature blend intended for both sipping and elegant mixing. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

- Aroma: Vanilla, baked apple, apricot, light floral notes, a hint of oak spice and subtle leather or nutmeg undertones
- Palate: Creamy and round; ripe stone fruits (apricot, peach), pear, vanilla, nuanced oak; smooth texture with layers of licorice and mild baking spice
- Finish: Medium‐long and balanced; lingering fruit and vanilla, gentle warmth without harshness
- ABV: 40%
Serving Suggestions:
Enjoy neat in a tulip or cognac glass so you can appreciate the aromatic complexity. Add a drop of water or a large ice cube if you prefer it slightly mellowed. Pairs well with dark chocolate, nut tarts, or mild cheeses. Also works very well in elevated cocktails like a Sidecar, or simply with ginger ale or cola for a mixed drink.
