The wine is typically a blend of varietals chosen for their ripe berry flavours and smooth, soft tannins. It aims for a balance between sweetness and freshness, making it enjoyable chilled or at a slightly cool room temperature.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Bright ruby red colour; vivid and clear with a light, juicy look in the glass.
- Aroma: Aromatics of ripe strawberries, cherries, red berries; some floral and possibly berry jam or candy-like notes.
- Palate: Smooth sweetness up front, juicy red fruit (cherry, strawberry, raspberry); soft mouthfeel, low tannin; light acidity to help balance.
- Finish: Moderate and gently sweet; lingering fruit flavour, mild finish without strong oak or bitterness.
- ABV: ~ 8-9%
